my dad grew up on the Chesapeake Bay it must be somewhere in Maryland. I'm sure he told one of us in a letter. I have been the collector but not in a very good order with moving so much etc. maybe it was the old haunted bridge he told me about, where you can still hear the horse and carriage ride over it at the same time everyday LOL

I like the haphazard. It forces us to focus on that one time, not seeing what came before or right after or where it lies in the overall scheme of things. Just a glimpse, like for the first time, until you realize it's not and the time and place and all the little incidentals come flooding back. I think haphazard sharpens our focus.
